thanks for the welcome. the offer is there if you ever want to give it a try. there's no commitment or investment on your part, other than preparing the photos properly. but then the photos will just sell themselves (if they are good). if you ever decide you want to learn more, just let me know. keep up the great work.

My head is flooded
With other people’s rhythmic thoughts
Which jostle to be seen
Then flee from my glance

This is the blurry pattern
Of my postmodern life
And it makes me nauseous

Red hanging lanterns
Steal away my excuses
And the crooked street signs
That dangle awkwardly above
Give them back again

The law demands a price
A ransom for my pride
Paid by one that I betrayed
Long before I awoke from his thoughts

But now the power of deception
Is diminished like a rusty chain
That only rattles empty threats
With every weary step I take

I walk nearer to the lantern light
My eyes are sharper
Enhanced by hunger and hope
No longer only spiritual but real
As fertile soil between my toes

And the decay that feasts
Happily on my earthy existence
Has the same effect
On the old iron rings
Once forged around my now purchased heart

Hey Micah,

You found me amongst the teaming masses of submissions out there... any idea how many photographers participate here?

I got so intrigued by other people's worked (and inspired) that I couldn't help but become a part of what was going on here.
